Moonglow
Monnglow is one of the best wedding bands in New England, with a giant song catalog.
Here is a bit about each of the band's members...
Melissa Bolling
has been singing and performing since the age of seven.
While performing in the Boston area, she was recognized by local singing
group Nuance, and toured parts of the United States with the group
for 4 years.
Melissa is also a talented songwriter and writes for new and
upcoming artists. She has recently competed her debut recording project.
Michael Payette
was a founding member of two of the most sought-after
function bands in the area before forming MOONGLOW. He is a well-respected
member of the Greater Boston musical community, and his bass playing
and strong vocal ability are always in demand.
In addition to his years of live performance experience, Michael
has sung on numerous radio and television ads in the Boston market
. His voice was prominently featured in a recent presentation at the
Charles Hayden Planetarium in Boston's Museum of Science.
Adam Smirnoff
is the newest member of Moonglow. He plays regularly
at Boston's legendary WALLY'S. His funky guitar and strong stage presence
brings a new attitude to the band. Adam also comes from a musical family.
His grandfather played with Charlie Parker, and his uncle is the first
violinist in the Julliard String Quartet.
Adam has opened for many nationally recognized acts including
the Original Parliament, Busta Rhymes, De La Soul and Maceo Parker.
He also performs in his hip hop group, The Squad. In addition to his
live performance prowess, he is a producer and recording engineer.
Carl Clements
comes from a very musical family (three of the
Clements brothers are in the music business). He began playing the
piano at age nine, and saxophone at age 10. By 1981 he was working
as a professional musician in the Boston area. He graduated from Berklee
College of Music in 1987. He then received a master’s degree
from Cal Arts.
Carl’s broad musical palette includes many recording, composing
and performing projects. He has also studied Indian classical music,
West African and Balinese music.
Daniel Coutu
has performed in many bands in and around the Boston
Area, including Boston Music Award winners Batwel Rada, Hommuculus,
Shockra,
the Hip Pocket Orchestra and Hot House, with whom he performed
in Las Vegas and St. Thomas. He has also performed with Senegalese
Master
percussionist Ibrahima Camara, who won a Boston Music Award for
Best World Music act.
Daniel received a degree in Music Synthesis from Berklee
College of Music. In addition to his prowess in the area of live
performance, he is a composer, arranger at Virtual Planet Studios.
He also teaches

Steve Clements
is another member of the talented Clements family.
He started playing the piano at an early age, and switched to drums.
He has studied at the New England Conservatory and Berklee College
of Music.
As a drummer and vocalist, he has been a part of New .England's.
music scene for the past 20 years. Boss, Psycho Serious and Tsouky
and the Memories are a few of the bands who were lucky enough to have
Steve as a member. Steve's strong rhythmic "feel" and dynamic
vocals are a fundamental part of the MOONGLOW sound..
