Lydia Lebron is a Latin singer, currently based in Connecticut, who originates from Puerto Rico. She began her singing career in 1978 and presented her first Merengue CD at this time.
Lydia Lebron y Su Connecticut Band is an outstanding, 10 to
12-piece Merengue orchestra led by Lydia Lebron and composed of
some of the
best Latin musicians in the region. The band has been extremely
active in the New England Latin music scene and offers a varied
repertoire
of original compositions and arrangements.
This Band performs Salsa, Merengue and more. Lydia is the voice of the Band…and her voice is dynamic. Her charisma and force bring Latin Soul to any audience. Lydia Lebron and her Band have opened for the following performers: Frankie Ruiz, Eddie Santiago, Tito Rojas, Tito Nieves, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, India, Pochy y Familia, Tun-Tun and recently for Elvis Crespo.
Lydia Lebron’s CD, “En Movimiento” is
