Steel Drum Duo
Scott Paulson and Barbara Smith deliver the islands to you with their Caribbean Steel Drums and Flute duo. The joy these two find in performing music comes through in their upbeat style, whether they are performing traditional Trinidadian steel pan tunes, salsa, or Jazz.
Their show consists of Scott on lead tenor steel pan, and Barbara on double second pans or flute. They play over background accompaniments which the pair have painstakingly recorded for this purpose. The result is a full lush sound created by only two people. This is the perfect choice when space, volume or finances are a concern.
